Map for inner transformation

Why Work with the Enneagram?
Many of us reach a time in our lives when we realize the way we have been doing things no longer serves us.
Something shifts in us, usually due to loss of a family member, job, or an important relationship in our life,
and amidst the heaviness of pain and grief we begin to feel the call to change.
An inner knowing arises, whispering a curiosity…
“Can life be more purposeful and fulfilling than we thought possible before?”
We can tell what we have been doing is outdated for who we want to become now, but we don’t know how to move forward.
We haven’t been given a map for this call to change arising in us. This is how many of us come to find the Enneagram.
The Enneagram is a powerful symbol of interconnectedness,
that portrays a map for inner transformation...
and guess what?
It turns out that you, my dear hold the keys you might never have known you had.
You hold the power to your own expansion and growth, you just need to learn to look deeper within.
The personality is essential to human functioning, of course, it allows us to be here at all (and how amazing is that!?)
but it is only a limited perspective of “I”.
Many people who discover the Enneagram only see it first on the surface level, a personality typing system, and oftentimes aren’t willing or ready to go beyond. But the Enneagram is much, much more than that, more than I could ever put into words here. Contained within the system is a description from a perspective of observation, that which is already true; we are all in cages of limited understanding and belief, as long as we are operating fully from who we think we are, our personality, rather than from who we more truly are at our core, the essence of life itself.
A True Liberation.

We can’t know our blind spots, without being willing to look at ourselves with eyes wide open.
We can’t know our blind spots, without being willing to look at ourselves with eyes wide open. The wisdom of the Enneagram, upheld by modern 4th Way schools and other psychospiritual traditions, teaches us that we have the power to transform our shadow through the act of illumination, utilizing various practices such as deep self-reflection and somatic embodied awareness.
One of the issues with blind spots is, well, you might’ve already guessed it, they are just that: blind spots. We oftentimes can’t see them on our own, and we need reflections from others to give us windows of opportunity to see the unseen in us in order to open the possibility for change. Sometimes this illumination can come from a self-education exploration, but more often, the most impactful change comes from having someone there with us, holding our hand as a guide while we traverse our inner terrain. The safety of being held in the loving, supportive container (the coaching-coachee relationship), while being called into embodied presence allows us to go deeper than we could on our own. The capacity for change expands and amplifies to fit the size of the container of space between us, coach and coachee, the inviter and the expander, surpassing what was possible alone.
